Welcome to VIPAR

Volunteers in Philanthropy and Recovery

Healing through helping others

Why Join VIPAR?

VIPAR members earn no-cost Recovery-Oriented Services for themselves and their family by volunteering at a charity of their choice

VIPAR membership fees support the organisation to fund Recovery-Oriented Services and entitles members to connect with VIPAR certified providers to receive services

VIPAR Core Principles

VIPAR focuses upon expanding access, removing barriers and promoting Recovery-Oriented Services for those experiencing issues with substance use (SUD) and co-occurring mental disorders.

We believe Recovery-Oriented Services should be available to all people seeking to initiate, sustain or enhance their recovery regardless of their ability to pay or insurance coverage.

We believe people experiencing issues with substance use and addiction are not broken and always have the
capacity to recover and improve their lives, especially when they receive Recovery-Oriented Services.

We believe people are experts in their own lives and their preferences should always direct the care they receive regardless of their substance use, stage of change, distress or impairment.

How does it work?

We make it seamless to find a trusted therapist that meets your needs.
Pay between $40-$70 per session ($30 student intern sessions are also available).
